"I am retiring to Florida and have never done a remodeling project in my life. I had a budget for purchase that did not include purchasing a fully remodeled property. Carole helped me buy a property that need work and remodeled it within my budget.

For my extensive remodeling project, Carole filled the roles of both the designer and the construction manager (and did it from out of state). She was definitely my advocate and I could not imagine trying to manage this project by myself – especially with all of the interfaces required by a condominium association. She handled it all - from permitting to condo board approvals and contractor management .

Communication is key - Carole kept me informed as much as I needed while handling those day-to-day job issues without giving me TMI (too much information). Dates were met and things ran smoothly with just the normal “hiccups” that all jobs have.” We ended up within days of our projected end date and at my budget mark.

"My family and I moved from a lovely Victorian building in England with lots of character and space. We were delighted to find an equally lovely home with as much character in a space that Carole has repurposed.

It is a beautiful old building but inside we have a wonderful modern living environment. Carole transformed the space without losing the beautiful old details of the old house. In fact, it seems like her designs play off the existing old place.

We’ve really grown to appreciate the flow of the home with the great open layout. But it’s the details – like the lighting and how she preserved wooden stairs and doors. Even the look & feel of radiators contribute to help make it special. We really enjoy all the modern touches but we still have the interesting original details from the old house.

We're especially pleased that the place is so comfortable both summer and winter yet our electric bills are quite low!
