Meet Carole Jackson
Carole Jackson is one of the more versatile and experienced professionals here in the greater Chicagoland real estate market. Having both a Masters degree in Business Administration and Architecture provides her with the formal education necessary to excel in her craft, but it is the almost innate ability to understand the direction that a neighborhood or market is heading that makes her projects financially successful and aesthetically relevant.
“I was living in a downtown high-rise building many years ago and when it came time to buy my first property my main choices to consider were that comfy new unit in a contemporary building -or- an older structure that needed work but had upside financial potential. I purchased the older unit with a potential of greater return. I then did a full building remodel down to the studs that netted a high return on investment and that became the start of my career.”
Motivated by the diversity of roles she played (blue jeans one day and business suit the next) Carole thrived in these stimulating creative, technical and business environments. “I’m taking that original skill set from my urban revitalization days and applying new concepts and ideas to the sustainable housing market. In my last two major projects, I implemented sustainable products and practices with a high level of success. One was recently featured by the Illinois Green Alliance's 2020 Green Built Virtual Home Tour"
First and foremost - Carole is a designer specializing in interior architecture. However, other factors that contribute to her award-winning design style are those that include key knowledge as a developer, property owner and realtor ...
"While I may not be the only professional in this area to have a contractor’s license and be an actively working realtor plus be an AIA member – I am proud to offer these skills to my clients."
