Complete Interior Remodeling of Condominium - Pompano Beach, Florida
Project Type: 1970’s condominium update to current spatial requirements and uses.
Objective: This condominium was in a wonderful location with great views but the finishes were 30 years out of date. The rooms were broken into out of date patterns of usage.
Scope of Work: The goal was to update the spatial configuration of the unit and then update all the interior finishes of the space while staying within a limited budget (given the after repair value of the unit) and the considerably strict constraints of the Condominium Association.
Details: We removed all existing wall and ceiling finishes (wallpaper and “popcorn” stucco ceiling finish). We first reconfigured the master closet and bath to create a true Master Suite. We removed and replaced interior walls to create a more continuous flow of space and to maximize the wonderful views this unit had to offer. New baths, kitchen and flooring throughout. All designs had to be approved by the Palm Aire Condominium Association as well as the Pompano Beach Building Department.
All of this was done within a 6 month timeframe and within the allotted budget.
