Project Type:  Total rehab/reuse of a single family home - Park Ridge, Ilinois

Objective:  A 1950’s 4-bedroom, 1-bath home was brought up to the standard “wish for” list for an updated 2020’s era home. Property sold within 4 months of listing at near full offer price.

Scope of Work:  This home had claustrophobically closed in and separated rooms. The home had a one car garage and pretty covered side porch.  We opened up the first floor space to create an open kitchen, family room and guest suite with its’ own bath.  On the second floor we took the 4 small bedrooms to create a master suite, 2 bedrooms with a shared bath.  A separate 2 car garage was build on the

property.

Details:  Building permits included enclosing the existing one car garage, enclosing the existing porch and much structural change on the interior, as well as a basic permit to erect a detached 2 car garage on the property .
